FIELD: analytical chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method includes the measurement of chemiluminescence intensity of standard solutions using liquid samples analyzer, plotting of ratio of chemiluminescence intensity to concentration of defined components, and determination of nickel or cadmium ions concentration in the water samples as complex compounds. 10 drops of luminol solution are placed in the analyzer dish, and 3 drops of studied solution with previously added complexing compound trilone B are put in the cavity of metering cap of said analyzer.

EFFECT: improved detection of cadmium and nickel.
