FIELD: analytical chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to determine the mass concentration of gas condensate during quality control of water-methanol solutions. The method for determining the mass concentration of gas condensate in water-methanol solutions by the fluorimetric method consists of taking a sample of the test solution containing liquid hydrocarbons, extracting hydrocarbons from said sample with hexane, measuring the mass concentration of hydrocarbons in the hexane extract of the test solution using a fluorimetric liquid analyser, and the liquid analyser is calibrated by measuring the fluorescence signals of the calibration solutions. Water-methanol solution obtained during preparation of hydrocarbon gas, containing gas condensate as liquid hydrocarbons, is used as the test solution. Before extraction of the test solution sample from said gas condensate sample using hexane the sample is diluted tenfold with distilled water. Calibration solutions are prepared using gas condensate and pure solvent hexane. Based on the data on the volume of the sampled water-methanol solution, the volume of hexane taken for extraction and the value of the mass concentration of gas condensate in the hexane extract, the mass concentration of gas condensate in the water-methanol solution is calculated.

EFFECT: increase of efficiency of quality control of water-methanol solutions and reduction of the time of research.
