FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to solid alloy wastes processing and using produced powder as alternative stock. Proposed method of processing wastes of solid BK8 alloy comprises dispersion of wastes, mixing of produced powder with carbon black, and carbonising. Wastes of solid BK8 alloy are processed by electric charge dispersion in water. Thereafter, produced powder is mixed with carbon black while carbonising is performed in vacuum furnace at 950°C for one hour.
EFFECT: higher quality of process and finished powder suitable for production of articles from hard alloys.
