FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: method involves creation of protective coating on the surface by its electrospark alloying by means of an electrode made from material on copper basis; after that, polyvinylidene fluoride solution in polar aprotonic solvent is applied; surface heating of the applied solution is performed at temperature of 170-270°C till polyvinylidene fluoride is monolithiated and machining of the coating is performed by means of plastic deformation.
EFFECT: method involves reducing friction coefficient and increasing wear resistance of working surface of parts of high-rate friction assemblies and friction assemblies of the equipment used during pumping of high fluid flows including chemically corrosive liquids and oil.
