FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: fusible adhesive bicomponent fibre obtained by drawing undrawn yarn, containing polyester as a first component and an olefin polymer with melting point lower than melting point of the first component, as a second component. Birefringence in the first polyester component is not higher than 0.150, and the ratio of birefringence in the first component to birefringence in the second component is not more than 3.0. The degree of orientation of the axis C of the crystal element of the second component of the fusible adhesive bicomponent fibre is not less than 90%, and the strength of one thread of the fusible adhesive bicomponent fibre is not less than 1.7 cN/dtex.

EFFECT: obtaining super-thin heat shrinkable bicomponent fibre with high efficiency, where the drawing-flow state of the polyester undrawn yarn is provided easily and steadily.
