FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: end safeguard seal includes housing with chamber and locking fluid natural circulation system. Housing is axisymmetric to shaft train. Movable ring enclosing the shaft train has sealing elements radially located on both sides and is pressed by means of a spring to the sleeve and fixed ring. The latter is located in lower part of housing coaxially to the sleeve and cover plate. In fixed ring there made is trap of squeezing gases in the form of radial holes. Sleeve is connected to carrier. Locking fluid natural circulation system is made in the form of end seal chamber. Chamber inlet is connected to heat exchanger and outlet is connected to pneumatic hydraulic accumulator through a pressure gauge. Heat exchanger is connected through shutoff valves and filter to pneumatic hydraulic accumulator too. Pneumatic hydraulic accumulator in its turn is connected to a tank. Tank has a funnel and is connected through a bypass with shutoff valves through pressure gauge with pneumatic hydraulic accumulator.
EFFECT: increasing the protection efficiency of process equipment against explosions by improving the reliability of seal of shafts of the units.
