DEVICE TO TEST EXPLOSION PROTECTION OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC E04B1/92

Abstract RU 2571773 C2

FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: device for testing of explosion protection of buildings and structures comprises an explosive chamber, in the upper base of which there is an opening covered with an explosion relief element. The opening are may be changed by screwing of replaceable rings, and the explosion relief element closes the opening in the ring, above which a protective screen is fixed. The second opening is closed with a valve, which is pressed to the opening with the help of an electromagnet and opens with a spring in process of contact opening. The force of valve pressing and spring compression is set so that the total force is equal to the allowable pressure multiplied by the area of the valve opening, i.e. ΔF=Fem-Fsp=ΔPd.m·Sv, where Fem - force of the electromagnet pressing the valve to the opening, N/m2; Fspp - spring compression force, opening the valve, N: Fsp=(10÷15)gm, where g=9.81 m/s2; m - mass of electromagnet core with the valve, kg; Sv - valve opening area, m2. The explosion relief element is made in the form of a blast protection panel, which comprises a metal reinforced frame with a metal armoured lining and a filler - lead, has four fixed nozzles-supports in the ends. In the coating of the blast protection object there are four support rods rigidly embedded, which are telescopically inserted into the fixed nozzles-supports of the panel. The filler is made in the form of an air-lead dispersed system. Lead is made in the form of crumb. Support rods are made elastic. To ends of support rods at the side facing to the metal frame, there are additional elements attached, damping the impact wave influence, which are made of elastomer, for instance, polyurethane. Additional elements of the blast protection panel are made combined, for instance, elastic damping, in the form of an elastic element, for instance, a spring filled with polyurethane. In the blast protection panel between additional elements and the metal frame with the armoured metal lining on support rods, there are bushings from disposable material, for example, "triplex" type glass.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase efficiency of protection of buildings, structures, and also process equipment against explosions.
