SUBSTANCE: to measure length of rounding sections of convex surface or concave surface of a lengthy billet moving in a bender in direction of displacement, there is a measurement tool provided, which is installed so that in process of measurement it interacts with a point of the convex or concave surface of the lengthy billet near the neutral cross section, but displaced from it in direction of the lengthy billet displacement.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of measurement of linear length of bent sections of the lengthy billet.
