SUBSTANCE: system has a projector, a circular polarising filter module, a synchroniser, a filter drive and a sensor. The projector can successively emit left and right side images of the stereoscopic image content. The filter module has left and right side image polarisation filter regions and a light screening region. The screened light region lies between left and right side image polarisation filter regions. The synchroniser obtains time synchronisation information from the stereoscopic image content. Time synchronisation information corresponds to transition time between emissions of the left and right side images of the projector. The filter drive controls the circular polarising filter module. The sensor detects the boundaries between left and right side image polarisation filter regions when switching between left and right side images emitted by the projector.
EFFECT: sensor can adjust its position in accordance with the size of the left and right side images emitted by the projector.
