SUBSTANCE: invention relates to image projection systems. Disclosed is a method of forming a first image and a second image from a received image and a threshold image. The method includes a step of determining an upper boundary image and a lower boundary image based on pixel values of each of the received image and the threshold image. Further, the method includes forming a first image and a second image using the upper boundary image, the lower boundary image, the received image and the threshold image, wherein the first image has spatial frequency content different from the second image.
EFFECT: high quality of displaying a projected image during double stacked projection.
