FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: system for determining the authenticity of banknotes and documents includes a portable set-top box connected to a smartphone, in which data on anti-stoke marks of various types of banknotes are downloaded. The specified data are transferred to the console. The prefix is made with the possibility of comparing the data received from the smartphone with the data obtained, when measuring the response of the anti-stoke marks of the banknote being checked. The radiation frequency of the infra-red LED of the set-top box is set at a multiple of 10 Hz.
EFFECT: increasing the sensitivity of the system, reducing the power of infrared radiation, increasing safety in operation and reducing the time for determining the authenticity of banknotes or documents.
