FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fodder production, in particular, to a method for production of feed additives from animal-origin raw materials. The method for production of a feed additive from animal-origin raw material is as follows: one performs milling of soft skin wastes (fleshings, edge skin portions) in particular, nonconforming reindeer skins as well as wastes of pharmaceutical industry obtained during production of antlers preparations (skin with hair). The raw material is hydrolysed with 3% lithium and/or sodium and/or potassium hydroxide at a temperature of +20-25°C, stirred, neutralised with concentrated hydrochloric acid, then the hydrolysate is dried at a temperature of 45-50°C with usage of active blowing at an air flow rate over the bath equal to 9-13 m/sec till moisture content is 13-17%, the hydrolysate is milled, sterilised and packed.
EFFECT: proposed invention usage allows to produce quality products with high content of biologically active substances.
