FIELD: medicinal and cosmetic industry.

SUBSTANCE: collagen-containing preparation for medicinal designation represents gel-like mass with pH 2.5-3.5 prepared from reindeer hide with the content of heterogenic by molecular mass of collagen 75%, not less, comprising collagen with molecular mass 2.0-20 kDa in the amount 80%, not less. Method for preparing this preparation involves washing out reindeer insipid-dry hide with water at temperature 18-26oC, removing residues of meat, fats, subcutaneous cellular tissues from washed out hide followed by keeping the soaked hide in 4% sodium hydroxide solution for 15-28 h. Then hair and subcutaneous cellular tissue residues are removed from treated material and prepared depilated hide is washed out from alkali with tap water and milled to stuffing. Collagen is extracted with 3% acetic acid solution for 30-72 h at periodic stirring and prepared mass is homogenized. The advantage of invention involves that the preparation "KOLOLEN" is used a base for preparing resolving seam surgery and ligature threads, alloplastics, wound-healing and aseptic films, gels, ointments and sponges and for creation of the broad spectrum of ointments, creams and aerosols.
