FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly, to devices intended for adjusting clearance in railway vehicle brake drives. Proposed device comprises driving element, rod arranged displace axially inside the latter, adjusting nut engaged with aforesaid rod via threaded joint without self-locking function, means for engagement of driving element and adjusting nut, coil spring, first engagement and second engagement. Drive element features the shape of sleeve and is arranged to displace axially and to take up braking force acting in braking direction. First engagement comprises surface for engagement arranged on driving element and directed toward braking direction, and appropriate surface for engagement located on adjusting nut. Second engagement comprises surface for engagement arranged on driving element and directed toward braking direction, and appropriate surface for engagement located on adjusting nut sleeve. Adjusting nit sleeve is arranged to displace axially on said nut.
EFFECT: simplified manufacture.
