FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device (1) is designed for electric grounding of a coaxial cable (2) with an outer insulating protective coating (3) and comprises a receiver (4) and a lowered block (5). The receiver (4) comprises a lower element (6), two opposite side elements (7a, 7b) and two opposite open sides (8a, 8b). The lower element (6) and side elements (7a, 7b) together form a slot (9), which is the receiver for the specified grounded cable (2). The lowered block (5) comprises a grounding connection (10) and a penetration facility (11), which are in electric contact with each other. The lowered block (5) is connected to the receiver (4) so that the lowered block (5) during the operation of grounding of the specified cable (2) is placed opposite to the lower element (6) of the receiver (4). At the same time the cable (2) is covered with a device (1), and the penetration facility (11), having an edge (23a, 23b), penetrates through the outer coating (3) of the cable (2), so that it enters at the angle into contact with the outer conductor located inside the cable (2).
EFFECT: simplified design and improved operational characteristics.
