FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, in particular to marine medicine. Adaptation potential of diver (APD) is determined. Indices of psycophysiological status are estimated before submersion, state of functions of cardiovascular and nervous systems is estimated after submersion, and then by formula: APD=0.12·P+0.15·S-0.025·A+0.06·D+0.002·M+0.014·C-0.22·K+0.31·T-31.7 where: P is heart rate, S is systolic arterial pressure, A is rate of information processing, D is diastolic arterial pressure, M is minute volume of blood circulation, C is time of complex sensomotor response, K is critical frequency of fusion of light flashes, T is reactive anxiety. Tested people with APD not lower than 7.3 and not higher than 16.8 are related to group of people who have satisfactory adaptability to diving training, 16.81-20.1 - to group with strained adaptability, and those who have less than 7.3 points and more than 20.1 points - to group of people who have unsatisfactory adaptability to diving training.
EFFECT: method increases reliability of estimation in determination of adaptability to diving practice.
