FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to surgery and can be used in ablation of locally spread malignant tumours of larynx. Essence of method lies in carrying out anterolateral resection of larynx. From polypropylene mesh flap whose size exceeds formed defect by 0.5-0.6 cm is cut out. Flap is used to cover the defect and is fixed to the edges of remaining thyroid cartilage by means of several interrupted sutures. Rectus muscles of neck on the side of resection are cut on the border of medial and lower third, after that moved and laid above polypropylene mesh, then fixed by interrupted sutures with soft tissues and rectus muscles the opposite side of neck. Wound is sutured layer-by-layer. Tracheostoma is applied. Tracheostomic tube No 4 is introduced. Bandage is applied.
EFFECT: application of claimed invention makes it possible to perform functionally-sparing operation, preserve natural function of breathing and speech, reduce quantity of post-operation inflammatory complications in form of perichondrites of larynx cartilages, reduce operation trauma and terms of patient's stay in hospital, improve patient's life quality in the nearest post-operation period.
