FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in municipal services, agriculture and industry. Water dispersion of sorbent powder is prepared in mixing container. After settling, precipitate is dried, calcinated to 300°C, crushed to sift 5·(10-4 -10-3) m granules and place them into column first container. Water is pouted from first container into second water permeable container of column, not filled with sorbent granules and separated form sorbent granules by water permeable current conducting and earthed diaphragm. Then, water flows downward over sorbent granules via pipeline communicating second cylindrical container bottom with column top. DC voltage creating intensity of 100-100000 V/m is fed to isolated electrodes representing multi-row structure, each row consisting of first electrodes-cathodes in first cylindrical container and second electrodes-anodes in second cylindrical container. Water is poured into regeneration vessel to add water thereto. Obtained solution is fed into regeneration vessel via closed loop including water pump, lower outlet branch pipes, cylindrical column, inlet branch pipe and said regeneration vessel. After activation of sorbent granules, cylindrical vessel is emptied.
EFFECT: higher degree of powder sorbent activation.
