FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises hot rolling at broad-strip mill, water cooling to reeling temperature and strip reeling. If required, reel is either unreeled or temper-rolled with subsequent unreeling, or pickling, or pickling with subsequent temper rolling. Breaking-off and fluting are ruled out due to rolling end temperature set to make over 830°C, strip reeling temperature set subject to mathematical relation, and temperature difference between hot rolling end and reeling set to satisfy the following relation, i.e. ΔT=(Trend-Treel)≥250°C. Note here that reeling temperature for strips with thickness smaller than 2.5 mm is set 10-60°C lower than that for strips with thickness equal to 2.50 mm and larger.
EFFECT: high-quality surface strips from steel with content of aluminium approximating to 0,05% including pickled strips.
