FIELD: rolled stock production, possibly manufacture of wide hot rolled strips, rolled sheets processed in aggregates for lengthwise and crosswise uncoiling.
SUBSTANCE: at making rolled products with carbon content 0.17 - 0.20% and strip thickness 3 - 8 mm, strip temperature is sustained in range 870 - 900°C at end stage of hot rolling in finish group of stands of mill. Then strip is coiled at temperature 600 - 630°C. Hot rolled strip coil is guided for uncoiling in uncoiling aggregates at temperature of central (along width) portion of strip no more than 40°C. At uncoiling strip, cooling agent with temperature no more than 20°C is fed onto outer turn of strip and on surface of leading uncoiled part of strip.
EFFECT: possibility for providing optimal structure and, therefore mechanical properties of rolled products.
