FIELD: manufacture of hot rolled strips for further coating them by hot zinc plating.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of rolling steel with carbon content no more than 0.12% in wide strip hot rolling mill at predetermined temperature of rolling process termination to strip with thickness 1.2 - 3.0 mm; before coiling hot rolled strip subjecting it to differentiated cooling with water; setting temperature, rolling speed conditions and conditions of coiling strip depending upon final thickness of strip according to it strength characteristics determined with use of mathematical expression taking into account values aT ,ctB of yield limit and temporary rupture resistance respectively, MPa; hK - final thickness of strip, mm. Strip is guided to continuous aggregates for etching and hot zinc-plating at temperature no more than 40°C.
EFFECT: less loss of yield due to elimination of flaws occurred at process of technological processing of hot rolled strip to hot zinc-plated product.
