FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water supply for coke-chemical enterprises and can be used in coke-chemical production. Biochemical treatment of waste water involves successive dephenolisation and removal of thiocyanogen. After the biochemical treatment apparatus, the biochemically treated waste water is divided into two streams. The first stream is taken for spraying scrubber filters for wet cleaning of flue gases from the dry house of a coal washing shop and then further into a sludge tank. After settling suspended particles, the water is returned to the coal washing shop for floatation. The second stream is fed into the exhaust system of a coke shop and further into the sludge tank of a quenching tower. After settling the sludge, the water is then fed into the quenching tower for coke quenching.
EFFECT: cutting harmful emissions into the atmosphere and water bodies, and recycling of biochemically treated water from coke-chemical production through use thereof in other processes.
