FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automated systems for controlling technological processes, particularly ground tests of space and rocket equipment, and can be used to issue opening and closing commands to powder (pyrotechnic) actuated shut-off devices (valves with an electric ignitor). The apparatus for switching on a pyrotechnic valve with an electric ignitor has two contactless switches for feeding current to the electric ignitor. The electric ignitor is connected on side to the first contactless switch through a commutation switch to the positive bus of the power supply and on the other to the second contactless switch and through a commutation switch to the negative bus of the power supply. The commutation switch enables to switch off the power supply and connect the ignitor to a terminal adapter for connecting a measuring device which measures the resistance of the ignitor line.

EFFECT: high reliability of the device for switching on a pyrotechnic valve with an electric ignitor.
