FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: internal combustion engine (ICE) with forced ignition, which is equipped with compressor (1), comprises cylinders (2), air suction plant (3) and compressor (8). Plant (3) consists at least of one distributing pipeline (4), several inlet pipelines (7) and at least one delivery chamber (6). The latter (6) is arranged between distributing (4) and inlet (7) pipelines (7). Air for fuel combustion is supplied to plant (3) via pipeline (5) that ends in distributing pipeline (4). Pressurisation pressure (p) decreases in the section from compressor (8) outlet to ICE combustion chamber inlet. Length (Lv) of distributing pipeline (4) is determined depending on its equivalent diameter (Dv) so that pressurisation pressure (p) reduction is achieved inside plant (3) by means of gas dynamic expansion. Expansion is performed partially in delivery chamber (6), in the corresponding inlet pipeline (7) and/or in distributing pipeline (4).
EFFECT: pressurising air temperature is decreased.
