FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: cylinder 2 is filled by engine. Inlet zone 4 of said cylinder 2 has blow-through openings 5 to feed supercharging air 3 while cylinder cover 6 is furnished with exhaust gas discharge valve 8. Fresh air 9 at ambient pressure P0 is sucked by turbo supercharger 10 running on off gases and fed into cylinder 2 via aforesaid openings 5 as supercharging air 3 at preset supercharging pressure Pc. Temperature pickup 12, 13 is used to measure fresh air suction temperature T0 and/or supercharging air temperature TL. Said suction temperature T0 and/or supercharging air temperature TL are used to define the amount of supercharging air 3 cylinder 2 is filled with. Discharge valve 8 is used to keep definite amount of supercharging air 3 in cylinder 2. Invention covers also two-stroke diesel engine.

EFFECT: better filling of cylinders.
