FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: ignition device of the charge of solid-propellant rocket engine contains cylindrical housing with radial holes, the main igniter composition body arranged inside it, primary igniter composition, cover plate with electric spark igniter, which is wound on the housing end surface, and sealing membranes. On the housing end surface opposite to the cover plate there coaxially made is cylindrical guide on which additionally introduced movable part of ignition device is based. Movable part is made in the form of hollow cylindrical shell with radial holes and additional igniter composition body arranged inside it, which is covered with cover plate with a hole.
EFFECT: invention allows providing uniform warming-up and ignition of branched burning surface of fuel element of large elongation.
