FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed charge is composed of ballistic solid rocket propellant while igniter comprises batch of black gun powder and electric primer. Said charge represents monoblock with central bore composed of two concentric cylindrical 2.6-3.0 mm-thick shells with axial ribs of said thickness on inner and outer surfaces. The number of outer ribs is twice the number of inner ribs while recesses between inner ribs are located on one radius with every second recess and feature base filler radius equal to those of outer recesses bases. Igniter is arranged in charge bore and includes case with four holes on side surface, protective membrane arranged on case inner surface and made of aluminium foil, and sleeve fitted in said case for sealing powder batch and accommodating electric primer. Parameters of said charge and igniter are interrelated by relationships protected by this invention.
EFFECT: reduced negative effects on gunner, stable operation of said charge.
