FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises applying polymer composition on cylindrical part and flange to make a coat by filling the clearance between flange and gage on coiling braid impregnated with polymer composition layer-by-layer, moulding and hardening of said polymer composition, removing aforesaid gage and coat machining. Prior to winding said braid, plain bearing and gage are fitted to slide on axle and make clearance between flange and gage. Further braid winding is made directly on said axle to be removed after hardening of polymer composition. Bolt is used as said axle. Note here that crimping of said polymer composition and braid is performed using bolt head by tightening the nut via plate washer arranged on opposite face of plain bearing. Braid is fitted in radial grooves made in flange face along spiral line. In tightening the nut polymer composition crimping force is measured by strain gages glued radially to inner flat surface of aforesaid plate washer.
EFFECT: longer life of plain bearing.
