FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: method involves application of polymer composition onto internal cylindrical part and a flange in the form of a coating by filling in the gap between the flange and a template by layered winding of a band soaked with polymer composition with further pressure testing and curing of polymer composition, removal of the template and mechanical processing of the coating. Prior to the band winding, the sliding bearing and the template are installed as to sliding fit on the axle so that a gap is formed between the flange and the template. Further bundle winding is performed immediately on that axle, which is removed after curing of polymer composition. A bolt is used as an axle. Pressure testing of polymer composition and the band is performed with the bolt head by tightening the nut that is located on an opposite end of the sliding bearing. A plate washer that is installed between the bolt head and the template is used for pressure testing. As polymer composition for the band soaking, ethynol varnish 1 wt % with fillers in the form of graphite 0.45-0.5 wt % and fluoroplastic 0.45-0.5 wt % is used.
EFFECT: increasing durability of the sliding bearing.
