FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: method involves application of polymer composition onto internal cylindrical part and a flange in the form of a coating by filling in the gap between the flange and a template by layered winding of a braid soaked with polymer composition with further pressure testing and curing of polymer composition, removal of the template and mechanical processing of the coating. Prior to the braid winding, the sliding bearing and the template are installed as to sliding fit on the axle so that a gap is formed between the flange and the template. Further braid winding is performed immediately on that axle, which is removed after curing of polymer composition, besides, the bolt is used as an axle. Pressure testing of polymer composition and the braid is performed with the bolt head by tightening the nut through the plate washer. According to the invention the braid is fitted in radial grooves made in flange face along a spiral line. When tightening the nut via plate washer the latter performs micro motions by means of vibrator connected to the bolt head.
EFFECT: increasing durability of the sliding bearing.
