SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine and may be used for swing control and actuation of an end effector on a surgical fixation device. A version provides one wire rope drive travelling between the first position and the second position. In the first position it performs a swing function of the end effector without being actuated (i.e. joining and insertion). In the second position it performs an actuation function of the end effector without being rotated. One wire rope drive can also performs a joining functions of opposite clamps of the end effector.
EFFECT: enhanced actuation of the end effector on an endoscope.
