FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to orthopedics and aims at prevention of a developing post-therapeutic relapse of the disease in the patient suffering degree III-IV vertebral scoliosis. An external transpedicular fixation apparatus is used for osteosynthesis in 15-20 days after costal humpback resection. Rods are inserted in vertebral bodies through arch roots adjoining a flexural arch base in thoracic, lumbar spines, and a pelvis. Free ends of the rods are attached on outside supporting plates of the apparatus to provide gradual multiple-plate dislocation and mutual vertebral turn. Gradual removal of the deformity components is prescribed in a postoperative period. After the deformity is removed, the external transpedicular fixation apparatus is replaced by an internal transpedicular fixation system to be attached to the vertebraes.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of the method.
