SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for processing to liquid fuel of peat, brown coal, sludge of sewage treatment plant and other ash-rich carbon-bearing wastes of organic origin. Processing method of solid fuel to liquid fuel is performed by emulsification of solid carbon-containing fraction with liquid fraction. As solid carbon-containing fraction there used is coal char crushed to the fraction of 20 mcm and obtained as a result of semicoking process of solid fuel, and as liquid fraction there used are liquid semi-coking products of the same fuel; besides, emulsification is performed till sol condition and until solid fraction with size of ash particles is obtained; after that, ash fractions are separated from sol by means of centrifuging so that gel and ash is obtained separately, and non-condensed semi-coking gases are used by firing for preliminary drying of solid fuel.
