SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises feeding portion of explosive composition and compacting it by reciprocating press tool, forced feed of explosive composition, terminating press tool rotation at preset specific pressure and further compaction of explosive to preset density, and controlling press tool rpm and temperature of press tool working en face. Proposed device comprises plunger-type hydraulic cylinder, press tool, reciprocation drive, idle displacements drive and control system. Press tool is provided with screw flutes and rotation drive equipped with safety friction coupling. Idle displacements drive is made up of self-braking screw gearing coupled by rack mechanism with moving plate secured on hydraulic cylinder plunger, and free wheels. Said free wheels are fitted in screw wheels. Control system incorporates additionally press tool rotation and working end face temperature controllers.
