SUBSTANCE: clock mechanism has a housing defined by first and second parallel flat surfaces and which defines base planes (A, B), where the second plane (B) lies on the wall of the mechanism for placing onto the wrist of the carrier. The clock mechanism has at least one balance wheel which turns on bearings mounted in said housing, at least one moderator mechanism which supports the balance wheel, a power supply, clock mechanism gear units which connect the power supply with the moderator mechanism and the drive mechanism. Also, the balance wheel turns about an axis (YY) which is inclined relative the base planes (A, B) and intersects with said planes, where the point of intersection (PA) of said axis (A) with the first plane (A) is nearer to the centre of the mechanism than the point of intersection (PB) of said axis (Y) with the second plane (B).
EFFECT: design of a compact clock mechanism which can be placed in a sealed housing and ensures optimum balancing characteristics.
