SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a clockwork comprising a bottom plate (33) continuing substantially in a first plane, the bottom plate (33) being configured to support other parts of the clockwork, such as an at least partially movable element, said element continuing at least partially in the second plane, and the clock mechanism contains drive means, including a system (98) of gears, while the specified element contains a drive gear rim that ensures its actuation, characterized in that it contains means (30, 40, 130) of variable control, intended for variable control of the inclination of the specified element relative to the bottom plate (33) so that the second plane forms an angle of variable magnitude with the first plane of the bottom plate (33), and the variable control means (30, 40, 130) contain a transmission gear (80, 131) or the first transmission gear (31) located on the bottom plate (33) and designed to interact with the drive gear rim of the specified element, while the transmission gear (80, 131) or the first transmission gear (31) is rotatable relative to the bottom plate (33) by means of driving means, wherein the transmission gear (80, 131) or the first transmission gear (31) has a concave peripheral surface containing a substantially spherical ring gear (32, 81, 181) designed to engage with the ring gear of the specified element and actuating it regardless of the orientation of said element relative to the bottom plate (33). The invention also relates to clock with such a mechanism.
