SUBSTANCE: "antenna dome" system comprises a transceiving linear polarised antenna, a mechanism of antenna rotation towards a target and a dome equipped with a unit of fixation to an aircraft, the antenna is made with the possibility of rotation around their axis and is installed so that the vector of the electric field of antenna radiation is in the plane of wave drop onto the dome, and the dome is made as capable of rotation in orthogonal planes and is installed so that the normal to its surface is located relative to the wave vector of the dropping wave at the Brewster angle.
EFFECT: increased ratio of electromagnetic wave passage and reduction of direction-finding errors in the antenna-dome system in a wide band of frequencies.
