FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for determination of superhigh-frequency parameters of material. Method comprises measuring transmitted wave power and phase between transmitting and receiving antennae without sample material, placing sample material on rotary support in centre of polygon between transmitting and receiving antennas, measurement of power and phase of transmitted wave between transmitting and receiving antennae with sample of material, calculating power and phase of transmitted wave between transmitting and receiving antennas with material sample located between them, calculating power and phase of complex super-high-frequency parameters of material, wherein in frequency band angular dependences of power and phase of transmitted and reflected waves are measured during rotation of sample of material between transmitting and receiving antennas in two perpendicular planes of polarization, as per measured angular dependences of power and phase of reflected wave Brewster angles, and complex values of super-high-frequency parameters are calculated by powers and phases of field of material passing through sample at normal incidence and turned at Brewster angle, wherein if Brewster angle for polarization with electric field vector perpendicular to incident wave plane is not determined, then Brewster angle for polarization with electric field vector in falling wave plane is used for said polarization.
EFFECT: high accuracy of measuring frequency dependence of complex dielectric and magnetic permeability of a sample of material.
