FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely resuscitation, and may be used for the purpose of treating the patients suffering a severe combined craniocerebral injury (CCI). That is ensured by a standard conventional intensive care. It is added with the intravenous bolus administration of the preparation Epocrin. Within the first day of the posttraumatic period, Epocrin 10000 IU is administered in a single dose. On the second say of the posttraumatic period, Epocrin 10000-20000 IU is administered with regard to the injury severity and threatening death. On the third and fourth days, Epocrin 10000 IU is administered. On the fifth posttraumatic day, Epocrin is administered in dose 5000-10000 IU.
EFFECT: developed dose schedule included in the intensive care of the combined severe CCI patients enables higher clinical effectiveness, reduced death rate and complication rate.
