FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to batch preparation of loose materials and may be used in agriculture and animal feed production. Mixer comprises mixing chamber made up of cylindrical bin with truncated cone bottom. Screw making a working member is arranged along mixing chamber axis, encased in tube. Tube top accommodates batch mixer casing fitted on screw shaft by slide joint. Said bin houses mixing vanes fitted on screw shaft by slide joint. Bin has independent bottom supported by springs. To load main component, batch mixer is communicated with loading branch pipe. To load premixes, batch mixer is communicated via hose with proportioning feeder. Finished product is discharged on opening gate via discharge branch pipe. Trapping filter doubles as dust collector.

EFFECT: reduced power consumption, uniform mixing.
