FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microbiology. Described is a method of stimulating repair of skin and mucous lining wound defects, involving local application of a prodrug containing an effective amount of bacterial lipopolysaccharides. Disclosed is a prodrug for stimulating repair of skin and mucous lining wound defects, characterised by that it is in form of a gel and contains bacterial lipopolysaccharides, a water-soluble cellulose derivative, a polybasic alcohol, preservatives and treated water, with the following ratio of components in g per 100 g gel: bacterial lipopolysaccharides 0.002-5.00, water-soluble cellulose derivative 1.00-10.00, polybasic alcohol 2.00-15.00, preservatives 0.0001-1.00, treated water - up to 100.00.
EFFECT: invention widens the range of agents and methods which enable to repair wood defects.
