FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: dibornol is determined as follows. A sample is transferred into a solution and dibornol undergoes inverse voltammetric determination in said solution using a platinum indicator electrode with electrochemical accumulation at potential 1.2 V relative a saturated silver chloride electrode for 120 s on the background of 0.1 mol/l sodium perchlorate in dimethyl formamide and then recording anode peaks with potential sweep at a rate of 0.04 V/s. Concentration of dibornol is determined from the height of the peak at potential ranging from 1.3 V to 1.6 V. The determined content of dibornol ranges from 1·10-3 mol/l to 3.2·103 mol/l.
EFFECT: sensitive and rapid method for determining dibornol.
