FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical chemistry, particularly to stripping voltammetry method of determining flavonoid with high antioxidant activity and clinical effectiveness in treating several diseases. The given task is solved by that, hesperidin is transferred from a sample into a solution and voltammetric accumulation of flavonoid is carried out in the stirred solution for 60÷120 s with potential of the electrolysis cell equal to (-0.6÷-0.8) V relative a saturated silver chloride electrode on the background of 0.1 n disubstituted sodium hydrophosphate, with subsequent registration of anode peaks at scanning velocity of 20÷30 mV/s. Flavonoid concentration is determined from the peak height in the range from 0.35 to 0.45 V by adding standard mixtures. The detection limit equals 0.8*10-5 mol/l. The proposed method can be used in pharmacokinetic research, for monitoring biologically active additives, in food industry for determining fake orange juice etc.
EFFECT: wider range of determined concentrations and rapidness of determining hesperedin through adsorption stripping voltammetry.
