FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: child's first void urine is examined unsolved to determine the enzyme gamma-glutamiltranspeptidase and to evaluate the concentration of urine creatinine in urine dissolved in distilled water in 50 times. A renal toxicity index is calculated by dividing the gamma-glutamiltranspeptidase concentration in IU/l by the creatinine concentration in mmole/l. If the renal toxicity index exceeds 4.85, the child is referred to a risk group of developing renal pathology.
EFFECT: use of the declared method provide more effective diagnosis of renal pathologies in recurrent respiratory infection children aged 3-7.
