FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: diagnosing of ischemic nephropathy in the newborns is ensured by diagnostic testing for 1-3 days of life according to anamnestic and biochemical findings, involving the determination of foetal age, sodium ion concentration, urine microalbumin, urine carbonic anhydrase to creatinine relation and blood free bilirubin concentration; that is followed by the calculation of a probability (P) of ischemic nephropathy by formula. If the value P is more than 50%, ischemic nephropathy is diagnosed in the newborns.
EFFECT: using the declared technique enables the early diagnosing of ischemic nephropathy in the newborns.
