FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: three-phase reactor controlled by magnetic biasing includes electromagnetic section, converter with controlled rectifier and feed transformer having primary and secondary windings and automatic control system. Electromagnetic section contains magnetic conductor with six rods - two rods per each phase; at rods there are power windings, control windings and compensating windings connected to primary windings of feed transformer. Secondary windings of converter feed transformer are connected to inputs of controlled rectifier; control windings are connected to output of controlled rectifier. Feed transformer of converter is a three-phase transformer and has additional secondary windings. At that secondary windings of feed transformer are made with different number of winding turns and their ratio meets condition 1<w2/w1<10, where w1 is a number of secondary winding turns in feed transformer for controlled rectifiers in stationery reactor modes and w2 is a number of secondary winding turns in feed transformer for controlled rectifiers for power generation and shedding.
