FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shunt reactors (SR) controlled by magnetic biasing, representing electrical equipment systems for compensation of reactive power and stabilisation of voltage of high-voltage power transmission lines (PTL). SR includes an electromagnetic part, a magnetic biasing transducer, and a control, regulation, protection and automation system. The electromagnetic part includes a magnetic conductor with two rods per each phase of the network. Network windings, control windings and compensation windings are located on the rods. Control windings can be combined with network windings. The magnetic biasing transducer includes a controlled rectifier with a two-winding power supply transformer, the secondary windings of which are connected to an alternating-current input of the controlled rectifier, and primary windings are connected to an alternating-current output of a DC-to-AC transducer. Primary windings of the two-winding power supply transformer are connected to outputs of the reactor compensation winding, and secondary windings are connected to an alternating-current input of an AC-to-DC transducer. Direct-current inputs of DC-to-AC transducer and AC-to-DC transducer are connected to each other and to an electrical energy accumulator.
EFFECT: improving quick action, reducing influence of operating modes of a magnetic biasing transducer of the reactor on auxiliary needs of the substation, enlarging functional capabilities, including due to magnetic biasing at absence of voltage at high-voltage inputs.
