SUBSTANCE: image processing device comprises: applied quantity calculation unit which calculates quantity of applied toner for print image data and quantity of applied toner for template image data, preventing copying and falsification; determination unit which based on applied toner quantity calculated by applied quantity calculation unit determines if sum of quantity of applied toner for print image and image preventing copying and falsification data exceeds predetermined quantity of applied toner; and applied quantity adjustment unit which in case when determination unit determines that sum of applied toner quantities exceeds predetermined quantity of applied toner limits quantity of applied toner for print image data to prevent sum of applied toner quantities to exceed predetermined quantity of applied toner.

EFFECT: prevention of fixation error generated when quantity of applied toner exceeds maximum quantity preset in image processing device, and prevention of undesired print material image quality degradation during printing with overlapping such as printing with template preventing copying and falsification.
