SUBSTANCE: information system of location based on architecture of protected user plane location including method of location positioning based on event in area with handover between networks is considered. The method includes the following: requesting by terminal in home network by means of the first message, new initiating parameters of event when the event is present in the area if the network has changed or if terminal is out of service network coverage; determination of terminal service network by home network by means of location identifier included in the mentioned first message; receiving from this first service network by home network the location identifier of target area for which positioning is requested; and transmission of new initiating event parameters including the mentioned area identifier to terminal by home network by means of the second message.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of processing an event in area when network changes.
