SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of communication and specifically to methods of supporting services for determining location. A message is received, which is sent by a terminal to a server for determining location through the user plane, and service options of the terminal are obtained from the message. The service options of the terminal indicate whether the terminal supports each of the periodically launched services and the service launched by the event of the zone. The service options of the terminal are then stored. It is determined whether the terminal supports the service of determining location based on service options of the terminal, and a connection with the terminal is established through the user plane for the service of determining location if supported by the terminal.
EFFECT: possibility of establishing a communication session as efficiently as possible in order to save network resources and fast provision/reception of a service of determining location.
